A bit about me.....

Where?Originally I'm from Derbyshire....here we have the lovely peak district and great pubs, especially the Hollybush in Duffield!  I am now based in Edinburgh which is even better!

History... I studied Sculpture at Camberwell college of Art where I learnt lots about creativity in general. It was great to focus on visual art throughout this time and to discover the differences between visual art and music. Although I have naturally verged towards music as my main form of expression, I appreciate the process of making visual things and thinking through drawing. I have found that all creativity comes from the same source but different expressions can be useful for different results. The beauty of drawing for example is that it is silent and can enable you to process thoughts on a deeper subconscious level. I find this process to be a sort of foundation to my music making and songwriting. Lyrics can form the conclusion of thoughts. Different to visual art I find that music enables me to concentrate emotion; it is very direct in its expression. I enjoy the immediacy and potency of a Live performance.

What [d you do]!? I am currently studying for an MSc in Art Therapy at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh alongside playing local gigs.

I Love...

Autmn time, Bonfires, swimming in the sea at night and day time, Rain when its hot, listening to Good fiddle and whistle players, Real Ale, Mead, Pecan Pie!
